The Fair Competition Commission (FCC) has put in place new strategies to enhance the delivery of efficient and high-quality services to citizens through modern systems.

Speaking during a strategic planning session with staff, Acting Director General Khadija Ngasongwa said the measures aim to improve service efficiency and ensure citizens receive world-class services.

“The FCC is committed to implementing President Samia Suluhu Hassan’s vision of a better business environment by engaging entrepreneurs through user-friendly and effective systems,” Ms. Ngasongwa said.

She noted that during the first 100 days of President Samia’s administration, the FCC has taken concrete steps to bring services closer to citizens, including establishing offices in Tanga Region and at border areas to reach communities in remote locations.

Ms. Ngasongwa also highlighted the commission’s continued commitment to professionalism and transparency, which has helped it maintain its ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Certification.

The session also allowed staff to review the draft of FCC’s new five-year Strategic Plan (2026/27–2030/31), aligned with the implementation of Tanzania’s 2050 National Vision.

The FCC promotes a participatory work culture, ensuring all staff are involved in institutional matters to strengthen the organization. The session took place on February 2, 2026, at Tiffany Diamond Hotel in Dar es Salaam.
