The period for submitting nomination forms for leadership positions in the Dar es Salaam Regional Basketball Association (BD) comes to a close today, February 17.
The BD General Election is scheduled for February 22 in Dar es Salaam.
Speaking to The Respondent Online, BD Election Committee Chairman Okare Emesu said that candidate interviews and the review of any objections will take place tomorrow.
“Once this process is completed, the committee will officially announce the list of candidates participating in the election,” Emesu explained.
He added, “The opportunity is still open for those interested in seeking leadership positions; the nomination window closes this evening.”
Following the announcement of prospective candidates, campaigning will run from February 19 to 21, leading up to the General Election.
