Tanzanian athlete Sisilia Panga ended 2025 in spectacular fashion after winning a gold medal at the prestigious Sao Silvestre Road Race, held on December 31 in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Sisilia completed the 15-kilometre race in an impressive 51 minutes and 8 seconds, outpacing a strong field of international competitors and demonstrating her exceptional talent and endurance.
Her victory has brought further recognition to Tanzania, showcasing the nation’s growing prominence in international athletics.
Rogath Stephen, President of the Tanzania Athletics Association, congratulated Sisilia for her outstanding performance.
He said her success was the result of hard work, disciplined training, and determination.
