Singida Black Stars head to Dodoma for league showdown

By Victoria Godfrey

Singida Black Stars will depart tomorrow for Dodoma as they gear up for their NBC Tanzania Mainland Premier League clash against Dodoma Jiji, set for January 16 at Jamhuri Stadium.

Speaking on January 13, the club’s spokesperson, Hussein Massanza, said the travel arrangements follow a revised fixture issued by the Tanzania Premier League Board (TPLB).

Massanza said the team is in high spirits and well prepared for the encounter, stressing that training has been consistent and focused since the squad returned from the Mapinduzi Cup.

“The team has been in active preparation since returning from the Mapinduzi Cup. The players are in good condition and fully ready for the match,” Massanza said.

After the Dodoma Jiji fixture, Singida Black Stars will continue their Premier League campaign with another away match against JKT Tanzania, scheduled for January 21 at the KMC Complex in Dar es Salaam.

The club is targeting positive results in the upcoming fixtures as it seeks to strengthen its position in the league standings.
