Mtambile constituency representative Aley Masoud Aley has sought to reassure residents and supporters of ACT Wazalendo, urging them to remain calm and confident as the party continues to review issues surrounding the October 29 election held last year.
Addressing residents during a series of meetings with different community groups in Mtambile, Mr Aley said the party’s leadership was still actively engaging with the matter, guided by the principles of justice, transparency and democracy.
He said the ongoing process was aimed at safeguarding the interests of citizens and ensuring that their concerns are fully addressed.
According to him, ACT Wazalendo is undertaking a comprehensive internal assessment of events surrounding the election and will, upon completion of internal procedures, return to the public with a clear explanation of the findings and the way forward.
Mr Aley called on residents to remain patient and peaceful, stressing that unity and calm are essential in the pursuit of justice and in sustaining social and economic development within the constituency.
He reiterated that the party remains committed to resolving political disputes through legal and democratic channels.
Residents who spoke during the meetings expressed optimism that the ACT Wazalendo leadership would continue to stand firm in defending the rights and interests of Mtambile citizens.
They said they were ready to work closely with their leaders to uphold democratic values, promote transparency and strengthen social cohesion.
Mr Aley concluded by encouraging residents to remain actively engaged in social and political affairs through peaceful means, noting that unity and collective responsibility are critical to shaping a stable and prosperous future for Mtambile constituency.
