Singida Black Stars are set to depart today at 9:00 a.m. for Brazzaville, Congo, ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup return-leg clash against AS Otoho on February 1.
The Tanzanian side holds a slim 1-0 advantage from the first leg at home and will be looking to build on that lead with another crucial away victory.
Speaking before the trip, team spokesperson Hussein Massanza confirmed that the squad will travel in full, including all players, the technical bench, and team officials.
“Our players are in great shape, highly motivated, and determined to deliver another strong performance. After last week’s home win, we continued our training sessions and will hold final preparations in Congo ahead of the match,” Massanza said.
Midfielder Kennedy Moses stressed the team’s focus on claiming all three points on the road. “We started with a win at home, and now our mission is clear—go out there and fight for another victory. We are ready to give our all to achieve that goal,” he said.
Moses also appealed to fans for continued support. “We know it has been a while since our supporters could rally behind the team fully, but we urge them to stand with us and cheer us on. Together, we can achieve our objectives,” he added.
