Mtibwa Sugar head coach Yusuph Chipo has made it clear that his team’s ambition is simple but demanding: to secure three points in every match as they aim for a top finish in the NBC Tanzania Mainland Premier League.

The team continued its winning momentum with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over KMC at Jamhuri Stadium in Dodoma, a result that has boosted confidence ahead of the coming fixtures.

Speaking to The Respondent Online, Chipo said the squad remains focused on consistently achieving positive results.

“Our goal is to finish the season in one of the top positions. Every match is important, and we are determined to make every point count,” he said.

The coach noted that preparations are already underway for their next crucial encounter against Tanzania Prisons, scheduled for February 1 in Dodoma.

“For now, we are training here in Dodoma where we will also host upcoming matches. I am grateful to my players for their dedication and hard work, which is translating into good results on the pitch,” Chipo added.

Highlighting the team’s fitness and morale, Chipo expressed gratitude that there are no injuries and praised the players’ high energy levels and strong determination.

Reflecting on the league, Chipo acknowledged the intense competition but insisted that Mtibwa Sugar is ready to face any challenge.

“The league is tough, and every team is capable, but we will continue to fight hard and give our best against every opponent we meet,” he said.

With the season still in its early stages, Chipo’s focus on discipline, preparation, and consistency suggests that Mtibwa Sugar is serious about challenging for a top spot, keeping their supporters hopeful for a strong campaign.
