Commissioner Makame urged Zanzibar’s sports leaders to strengthen teams in key areas, including physical fitness, defensive coordination, and goal-scoring efficiency.
He also encouraged players to compete with passion, discipline, and true competitiveness, ensuring Zanzibar returns stronger and aims to retain the trophy in future tournaments.
The tournament further highlighted shifts in the competitive balance among teams. Simba SC was eliminated early, while Azam FC advanced further, signaling growing competitiveness in domestic football.
