Sixty-two students from Ole Constituency who performed well in their secondary school leaving examinations have received motivation awards aimed at encouraging them to maintain discipline and academic excellence as they advance to higher levels of education.
The awards were presented today at Ole Secondary School by the constituency’s representative, Mr Seif Hamad Suleiman, during a ceremony attended by students, parents, teachers and community leaders.
Speaking at the event, Mr Suleiman congratulated the students for their hard work, commitment and good conduct, urging them to work even harder as they prepare to join new schools.
He reminded the students of the importance of self-discipline and prioritising education, stressing that education remains the most reliable tool for building a better future for individuals and the nation at large.
“It is not wise to abandon good behaviour when you go to meet new friends,” he said. “Always remember what took you to school in the first place—education—and avoid distractions that are not important at this stage of your lives.”
Mr Suleiman also pledged continued support for students from Ole Constituency throughout their academic journey, both during and beyond his tenure as representative, noting that investing in education is one of the most meaningful contributions to society.
He further called on parents and guardians to establish strong routines for closely monitoring their children’s academic progress, emphasising that students’ success depends on consistent cooperation between parents and teachers.
The ceremony concluded with messages of encouragement and renewed hope for students, parents and teachers, as the wider community was urged to continue supporting initiatives aimed at strengthening education in Ole Constituency.
