Prime Minister Dr Mwigulu Nchemba arrived in Zanzibar today, January 4, 2026, to take part in the launch of development projects as part of activities marking the climax of the 62nd anniversary of the Zanzibar Revolution.
During his visit, Dr Nchemba is expected to participate in various official events linked to the celebrations, which highlight development achievements and national unity ahead of the main commemoration of the historic Revolution.
The 62nd anniversary of the Zanzibar Revolution is being marked with a series of activities across the isles, including project inaugurations and public engagements, underscoring the government’s focus on socio-economic development and improved public services.
