Singida Black Stars take short break, return to training December 14

By Flora Mkoloma

Singida Black Stars have been granted a brief break as they adjust their schedule around the national team, Taifa Stars, ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Morocco.

The break follows Singida’s most recent Premier League match, where they suffered a 3-1 defeat against TRA United.

Players not called up for national team duties are expected back in camp on December 14 to resume training and prepare for upcoming league fixtures.

Hussein Massanza, the club’s Public Relations and Communications Officer, emphasized that the team’s focus remains on improving performance in the Premier League.

“After our last league match, we gave a short break to players not involved with national team duties. They will return on December 14 to continue official training in preparation for the upcoming games,” Massanza said.

Singida Black Stars currently sit 12th in the league standings, having played five matches, winning two, drawing two, and losing one, accumulating a total of eight points.
