Simba Sports Club is using the current break to conduct a thorough assessment of its performance in the first five Premier League matches, with the aim of strengthening the squad ahead of the next phase of competitions.
Ahmed Ally, the club’s Media and Communications Manager, said the technical bench has already submitted recommendations, which the management is now reviewing to identify areas that need reinforcement or adjustment.
“All these measures are part of our strategy to improve the team, ensuring Simba performs strongly in the upcoming league matches as well as in international tournaments,” Ally explained.
He noted that players are currently on a break following the recent match against Azam FC. Training is set to resume on December 28 at Mo Arena as the squad prepares for the next Premier League fixtures.
Ally further clarified that players called up for national team duty will continue their commitments, while others will return to club training.
“We encourage everyone to wish them well as they represent their countries, and to promote Simba through their excellent performances,” he added.
On the matter of appointing a new head coach, Ally confirmed that the process is ongoing and is expected to conclude before the start of the new year.
