The Ngorongoro Conservation Authority (NCA) is stepping up efforts to improve service delivery by training its staff in effective protocol management and guest services.
The move aims to ensure visitors enjoy top-quality experiences while visiting the world-famous conservation area.
Colonel Fikiri Machibya, Advisor to the Ngorongoro Conservation Corps, officially opened the training for Public Relations Officers in Mwanza.
He emphasized that strong communication skills, knowledge of protocol, and workplace discipline are essential for staff to meet the high standards set by the authority.
“We aim to maintain our status as a premium safari destination. Regular training encourages innovation, builds knowledge, and strengthens discipline, helping our staff deliver services that leave visitors impressed and eager to promote Ngorongoro globally,” Colonel Machibya said.
Hamis Dambaya, Acting Public Relations Manager at NCA, said the training will empower staff at a time when the authority is committed to implementing significant improvements in operations and customer service.
