Ole Constituency Representative, Seif Hamad, has moved quickly to implement key promises he made during the election campaigns, signalling a new chapter of optimism for residents who have long awaited improvements in basic services.
One of the immediate interventions is in Simaongwe Village, where Hamad donated new water pipes to restore the supply of clean and reliable water.
The area has faced persistent shortages after road construction activities damaged water infrastructure, disrupting distribution for months.
Speaking during the handover, Hamad said addressing water challenges remains central to his development agenda.
He stressed that the government, in collaboration with local communities, is committed to ensuring that essential services reach households efficiently and sustainably.
“Our priority is to solve real problems affecting our people. Water is life, and we cannot allow our residents to continue struggling with access,” he said.
In a separate development, the Ole MP toured the construction site of the Kwa Pweza Bridge, a critical link connecting the Shehia of Ng’ambwa, Mchangamrima, and Ole.
The bridge is expected to significantly improve mobility between farming areas and residential zones, helping enhance economic activities and reduce seasonal hardships.
Hamad announced that he would contribute 100 bags of cement to support and speed up the construction work, expressing confidence that the project will be completed within the planned timeline.
Residents have welcomed the renewed momentum, noting that the bridge will ease access to schools, markets, and farms, particularly during the rainy season when movement becomes difficult.
Hamad reaffirmed his commitment to maintaining close engagement with the community and local leaders to ensure that development initiatives bring tangible benefits.
“Leadership is service. I want the people of Ole to see and feel the results of the trust they placed in me,” he said.
