The government has assured public servants that it remains vigilant in addressing workplace challenges while providing modern tools to boost performance and motivation.
Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Minerals, Msafiri Mbibo, visited the Regional Minerals Officer (RMO) Office in Mara today to encourage staff and acknowledge their dedication.
Mbibo emphasized that the government continues to address operational hurdles, including the provision of new vehicles and other essential resources, to improve efficiency and service delivery.
During his visit, Mbibo also observed daily operations at the office and urged employees to uphold discipline, teamwork, and resilience, reminding them that challenges should never dampen their commitment to public service.
He praised the staff for their outstanding revenue collection, noting that the office had gathered TZS 112.61 billion from July to December 2025, exceeding the period’s target by 107.25% and reaching 53.62% of the full-year goal of TZS 210 billion.
Acting Regional Minerals Officer, Engineer Hamad Kallaye, said the results reflected strong collaboration, responsibility, and adherence to rules and procedures, which Mbibo urged to be maintained for even greater achievements.
The visit left a positive impression on staff, who expressed appreciation for the government’s support and pledged to continue working with integrity and dedication to advance Tanzania’s mining sector.
