Youth urged to back President Samia’s leadership

By The Respondents Reporter

Tanzanian youth have been urged to support and pray for President Samia Suluhu Hassan, following her recent parliamentary address and the swearing-in of Ministers and Deputy Ministers on November 18, 2025.

Hamza Rufeni, a Dar es Salaam resident, expressed confidence in the President’s commitment to youth empowerment and national development.

“As a young person, I expect very positive changes from the fairness and dedication that Mama Samia has always shown. We are moving in the right direction compared to where we came from, and I believe she will do great things for our youth, women, and fellow citizens,” he said.

Rufeni called on young people to remain focused and avoid negative influences, while continuing to pray for and support the President in advancing national priorities.

“Most importantly, I urge fellow young people to keep striving, avoid distractions, and actively support President Samia in various national matters,” he added.

His remarks come at a time when the President is emphasizing inclusive governance and youth participation as key pillars of her administration.
