Simba Sports Club has called on its supporters to turn out in full force this Sunday as the team kicks off its CAF Champions League group-stage campaign.

The Tanzanian giants will face Atlético Petróleos de Luanda in their opening Group Stage match at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam.

Speaking at a fan mobilization event held today, November 19, 2025, the club’s Media and Communications Manager, Ahmed Ally, urged Simba supporters to continue spreading the word and ensure a packed stadium on match day.

“Every Simba fan matters. Buy your ticket and be part of this historic moment. For those who have never attended a game at this level, this is your chance to experience it,” Ally said.

He also emphasized the importance of unity and visible support from the fans. “Let’s continue motivating each other so that as many fans as possible come this Sunday. This is a critical match, and we encourage everyone to wear their official jerseys and show their colors proudly,” he added.

Ally highlighted that the team’s true strength lies in its fans. “Our opponents are formidable, but our secret weapon is our supporters. When you fill the Mkapa Stadium, you create an intimidating atmosphere for Atlético Petróleos de Luanda. That energy can make all the difference,” he said.

Simba SC is counting on a massive turnout to provide the momentum needed as they embark on their journey toward continental glory.
