Prime Minister Dr. Mwigulu Nchemba today inspected key transport infrastructure and other properties that were damaged during the unrest on October 29, 2025, in Dar es Salaam.
The Prime Minister visited several affected sites, including the Puma fuel station at Kimara Baruti, the Kimara Korogwe and Kimara Mwisho rapid transit stations, and the Rupees fuel station at Kimara Stop Over.
During the tour, Dr. Nchemba assessed the scale of the destruction and emphasized the government’s commitment to restoring essential services swiftly.
He highlighted the importance of ensuring that transport and fuel facilities are fully operational to support smooth urban mobility and economic activity in the city.
“The government is determined to repair and rehabilitate all damaged infrastructure as quickly as possible. These facilities are vital for the daily lives of residents and the city’s economy,” Dr. Nchemba said.
Officials accompanying the Prime Minister outlined ongoing plans to rebuild and enhance security measures to prevent future disruptions.
