Minister for Industry and Trade and Mbinga Rural MP, Advocate Judith Kapinga, has called for deeper collaboration across institutions under her ministry as part of efforts to strengthen service delivery and accelerate economic development.
Kapinga made the remarks today in Dar es Salaam during a working tour of the Fair Competition Commission (FCC) and the Confederation of Tanzania Industries (CTI).
The visit forms part of her ongoing assessment of institutional performance since assuming leadership of the ministry.
Speaking to staff at both institutions, the minister underscored the government’s expectation for improved results in the industry and trade sector, noting that President Samia Suluhu Hassan has placed strong emphasis on promoting fair markets, competitive industries, and inclusive economic growth.
Kapinga said the ministry is committed to ensuring that public institutions deliver practical results that directly benefit citizens and the business community.
She urged staff to foster a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and mutual respect as a foundation for achieving the country’s development goals.
“We must work together with unity and a shared purpose if we are to deliver the outcomes that Tanzanians expect,” she told staff during the visit.
The minister added that continued engagement with institutions under the ministry will help identify gaps, address operational challenges, and create a more responsive framework for supporting industrialisation and trade.
Her visit is part of a wider government effort to strengthen accountability and improve the impact of public institutions across key economic sectors.
