JKT Tanzania players have expressed strong optimism as they finalize preparations for their Premier League encounter against TRA United, promising to deliver a spirited performance for home supporters.

The two sides meet tomorrow, November 26, 2025, at the Major General Isamuhyo Stadium in Dar es Salaam, in a match expected to draw significant attention as both teams are coming off recent victories.

During a media day held at the stadium on November 24, 2025, midfielder Gamba Matiko said the squad is fully prepared for what he described as a tough but exciting challenge.

He noted that both clubs have momentum, making the contest highly competitive.

Matiko, who has been in impressive form this season, said he is determined to continue contributing goals while helping JKT Tanzania secure a top-four finish.

“The league is tough because every team is well-prepared and has quality players, both local and foreign. Positive results come from solid preparation, and we have worked hard to be ready,” he said.

Forward Anuary Kilemile echoed the same confidence, stressing that the players remain focused on securing maximum points.

“Every player wants a good result. We have trained well, and we are entering this match with the mindset to win,” Kilemile said.

He encouraged fans to show up in large numbers, emphasizing that strong fan support plays a big role in lifting the team’s morale.

Team spokesperson Masau Bwire said the squad is in excellent condition—physically and mentally—heading into the match.

He confirmed that the team currently has no injuries, a boost that strengthens their chances of maintaining their winning streak.

“We are coming from a victory, and our aim is to keep that momentum going. Everyone is fit, and the spirit in the camp is very high. Our focus is on securing all three points,” Bwire said.

He added that JKT Tanzania is not only targeting a strong performance against TRA United but also preparing intensively for their upcoming match against Fountain Gate Manyara Tanzanite Kwarara.

“Our mission this season is clear: we want to compete for the championship or at least secure a top-four finish. We are determined to keep putting pressure on our opponents,” he said.
