By Victoria Godfrey

JKT Queens will face Ivory Coast’s Asec Mimosas in their second match of the CAF Women’s Champions League tomorrow at Suez Canal Stadium in Cairo, Egypt.

The Tanzanian side began their campaign with a 0–0 draw against Botswana’s Gaborone United on October 9, earning a single point. Asec Mimosas, meanwhile, opened with a 1–0 win over TP Mazembe, taking an early lead in the group standings.

Determined to secure a crucial victory, JKT Queens aim to boost their chances of reaching the semifinals. Their opponents will enter the match with high confidence following their first win.

Coach Kessy Abdallah confirmed that preparations are complete and highlighted improvements made after reviewing their opening game.

“We know Asec Mimosas is a strong team, but we are ready to fight for a positive result. Our squad is well-prepared, and I believe we can perform strongly and secure a favorable position to advance to the semifinals,” Abdallah said.
