Acting Director of Sports Development at the Ministry of Information, Culture, Arts, and Sports, Boniface Tamba, is set to be the guest of honor at the Tanzania Swimming Development Conference, which will take place tomorrow at the PSSSF Tower in Dar es Salaam.
The conference is organized by Prime Sports Agency in collaboration with the Tanzania Swimming Association (TSA), with North Coast Swimming Club (NCSC) serving as the main sponsor.

He noted that the conference will bring together coaches, parents, officials, and athletes from across East Africa.
Keema emphasized that the main objective of the conference is to discuss critical issues affecting the growth and development of swimming in Tanzania and the region, aiming to elevate the sport to higher competitive standards.
“We will explore various topics, including the history of swimming, current challenges, achievements to date, and practical strategies to advance the sport further,” Keema said.
He added that the Tanzania Swimming Development Conference 2025 provides a key platform for stakeholders to share ideas, collaborate, and design actionable plans for the long-term development of swimming both nationally and across East Africa.
Prominent speakers at the conference include David Mwasyoge, Chairman of TSA; Amina Mfaume, TSA Technical Director; Collins Marigiri, Secretary-General of Kenya Aquatic; and Max Kanyerezi, a swimming specialist from Uganda.
