Tourists visiting the Ngorongoro Conservation Area joined local staff and management on Monday in marking the launch of Customer Service Week, commending the authority for its continued commitment to improving service quality and tourism infrastructure.

The colorful event, held at the Loduare main entrance gate, brought together visitors from different countries who expressed satisfaction with the warm hospitality and efficient services offered at one of Tanzania’s most iconic destinations.

Speaking during the launch, the Senior Assistant Conservation Commissioner for Tourism Services, Mariam Kobelo, said the authority is determined to strengthen customer engagement and maintain world-class standards in line with the government’s vision of promoting sustainable tourism.

“We value every visitor’s opinion. This week gives us an opportunity to listen carefully and act on the feedback we receive. Our goal is to ensure that every guest enjoys an unforgettable experience while contributing to Tanzania’s tourism growth,” said Kobelo.

The visiting tourists hailed the Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority (NCAA) for its efforts to maintain the site’s natural beauty and preserve wildlife while providing modern facilities and smooth operations for visitors.

Many pledged to share their positive experiences back home and inspire others to visit Tanzania.

Customer Service Week, observed globally in October, serves as a reminder for organizations to recognize the importance of excellent service and strengthen relationships with their clients.

For Ngorongoro, it also reflects the broader government efforts under President Samia Suluhu Hassan’s administration to enhance service delivery and attract more visitors to the country’s leading tourist attractions.
