Tanzanian international supermodel Miriam Odemba has graced the ongoing Paris Fashion Week 2025, one of the world’s most prestigious fashion events taking place in France.
Speaking in a brief interview, Odemba expressed her excitement about the global showcase, describing it as a powerful platform that unites top models, designers, and celebrities from across the world.
“I attend Fashion Weeks quite often, but this year’s event has been exceptionally vibrant. It offers us, as international models, a rare chance to connect directly with designers, influencers, and other key players in the fashion industry,” said Miriam Odemba.
The annual event, which kicked off on September 30, will run until October 9, featuring top fashion houses and luxury brands.
Odemba shared that before attending the main shows, many celebrities gather at Hotel Costes, a renowned spot for stars during Fashion Week.
“While dining at the hotel restaurant, I met Temi Otedola, a newly wedded wife of African musician Mr. Eazi. We had a lovely conversation and discussed several topics, including her father’s recently launched book,” she added.
With a career spanning over three decades, Miriam Odemba remains one of Tanzania’s most iconic international models. She rose to global fame after representing Tanzania at Miss Universe 2008 and has since won multiple international titles.
Currently, she continues to build a lasting legacy in fashion, passionately advocating for the growth of Tanzania’s creative industries.
“I love my country and want to see it grow. I believe the opportunities we have in Tanzania deserve to be promoted more and more,” she emphasized.
Paris Fashion Week is widely regarded as the ultimate stage where global fashion icons gather to showcase creativity, style, and innovation. This year’s edition has attracted big names such as Pharrell Williams, Naomi Campbell, Paris Hilton, Kylie Jenner, Ana de Armas, and the Jenner sisters among others.
Odemba also received a special invitation to attend ECHOES – A Welcome to Paris Program, organized by @bonjourbrand at Tranoi, Paris
