Singida Black Stars to be honoured in grand celebration after historic CECAFA win

Singida Black Stars are gearing up for a spectacular celebration on October 4, following their historic triumph in this year’s CECAFA Kagame Cup the first in the club’s history. 

The festivities will be held at Bombadia Stadium in Singida Town, bringing together fans, residents, and well-wishers.

The team, currently in Dar es Salaam, is set to travel via the Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) from Dar es Salaam through Morogoro to Dodoma on the day of the event.

Hussein Massanza, Head of Communications for Singida Black Stars, said preparations are in full swing to ensure a memorable celebration.

“This event is about uniting our fans and the community to honour the team’s remarkable achievement and celebrate Singida’s first CECAFA Kagame Cup victory,” Massanza said.

The celebrations will kick off with a grand parade from the Puma area to Singida Town, culminating at the stadium with official festivities. 

Attendees will enjoy live music performances, traditional dances, and local barbecue, creating a vibrant and festive atmosphere for everyone.

The event promises to be a landmark moment for Singida, offering fans and residents a chance to revel in the team’s historic success.
