CCM MPs urge Mbarali residents to vote for development

By Samwel Ndoni, Mbeya

As Tanzania prepares for the October 29 elections, Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) appointed Members of Parliament, Bahati Ndingo (Mbarali) and Suma Fyandomo (Special Seats, Mbeya Region), are campaigning across Mbarali District with a strong message: vote for leaders who deliver development.

The MPs visited motorcycle taxi stages, local shops, tailoring businesses, and small enterprises, engaging directly with residents and entrepreneurs about how coordinated leadership from councilors to the President can improve livelihoods.

Speaking to motorcycle taxi operators, Fyandomo highlighted President Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan’s achievements in supporting local communities.

“My friends, voting for Dr. Samia and your MP, Bahati Ndingo, is not just a political choice. It is about supporting leaders who understand your challenges. For instance, fines for motorcycle taxi offenses were reduced from TZS 30,000 to 10,000 after your concerns were raised in Parliament,” Fyandomo said.

He added that electing CCM candidates for MP, councilor, and President ensures aligned leadership, which can accelerate development and improve service delivery in Mbarali.

Ndingo assured residents that their priorities have been central to CCM’s manifesto. Since becoming MP in 2023, he has visited almost all areas of the district, gathering community needs and presenting them to the party and government.

“Our manifesto reflects the essential needs of Mbarali, from healthcare and education to support for small businesses. We aim to ensure that policies and projects directly benefit residents,” Ndingo said.

He called on voters to continue supporting CCM under Dr. Samia’s leadership to complete ongoing projects and secure long-term development for the district.

“Elect leaders who listen and act. This is the surest way to accelerate progress and improve lives in Mbarali,” Ndingo concluded.
