By The Respondents Reporter

Voting is underway smoothly across Dar es Salaam, with citizens turning out in an orderly manner to exercise their constitutional right.

Inspector General of Police (IGP) Camillus Wambura led by example today, casting his vote at Mbweni polling station.

Speaking to the media after voting, IGP Wambura reassured the public that the security situation is calm and stable, with no threats to peace reported.

He encouraged Tanzanians to come out in large numbers, emphasizing that a safe and peaceful voting environment depends on everyone’s cooperation.

“The strength of our democracy lies in the active participation of our citizens,” said IGP Wambura, calling on all eligible voters to fulfill their civic duty.
