Special Envoy for Women, Peace, and Security in Africa, Ambassador Liberata Mulamula, joined citizens in voting (ticking) for the President, Member of Parliament, and Councillor, while commending the order and calmness of the citizens during the voting process.
Ambassador Mulamula turned out to vote early this morning at the Maliasili Mbezi Jogoo Polling Station in Kinondoni District, Dar es Salaam.
"Our Maliasili Mbezi Jogoo Polling Station opened on time. Everything appeared to be well-organized. I arrived at the station at nine o'clock in the morning. People had turned out, and during the time I was at the station, the numbers were increasing. Truly, the voting has started well with calmness and professionalism," she explained.
Ambassador Mulamula urged citizens to continue turning out to vote to elect the leaders they desire, who will guide them on the five-year journey towards development.
