Today, citizens across Arusha region are seizing their constitutional right to vote, shaping the leadership that will guide their communities for the next five years.

The region has witnessed a calm and orderly start to the elections, encouraging voters to participate confidently.

The Regional Commissioner (RC) of Arusha, CPA Amos Gabriel Makalla, visited several polling stations, including the AICC Hospital station in Arusha city, to observe the voting process and reassure the public of a secure and peaceful environment. He urged all eligible citizens to take part and make their voices heard.

“The security situation is calm, and the voting system is well-organized,” CPA Makalla said. “With numerous polling stations in place, every voter can cast their vote without long waits. I encourage all citizens to go to their registered polling station and participate fully in shaping the future of Arusha.”

Electoral officials have prepared multiple polling stations to ensure efficiency and convenience, making it easier for citizens to exercise their rights.

Authorities emphasize that every vote counts and that peaceful participation is key to strengthening democracy in the region.

By coming out to vote, Arusha citizens are not only fulfilling their civic duty but also actively influencing the leadership and development of their communities. Today is a reminder that democracy thrives when citizens take part.
