Singida Black Stars set sights on international success

Singida Black Stars have confirmed that their head coach, Miguel Gamondi, is using the CECAFA Kagame Cup as a key testing ground to prepare the team for the CAF Confederation Cup.

The club, which is also eyeing a strong start in the NBC Premier League, is determined to sharpen its competitive edge ahead of the continental challenge.

Club Media Officer, Hussein Massanza, said the Kagame Cup provides a valuable platform to evaluate the technical and tactical readiness of the squad.

“Our coach is treating the Kagame Cup as a crucial assessment tool,” Massanza explained. “His main priority is to strengthen the team and ensure the players are fully prepared to perform at the international level.”

He added that Gamondi continues to focus on building a balanced and competitive squad through intensive training sessions and exposure to both domestic and regional competitions.

“Improving the team’s performance and international readiness is at the heart of his strategy,” Massanza emphasized.

Singida BS will make their CAF Confederation Cup debut in the coming weeks, and expectations are high that Gamondi’s preparations will translate into strong performances on the continental stage.
