Kagera Region is witnessing a spirited political campaign as Samira Khalfan Amour officially launches her bid for a Special Seats parliamentary seat under Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM).
Her campaign centers on giving a stronger voice to women, youth, and marginalized communities.
The launch in North Muleba drew a large crowd, where Samira introduced herself, listened to residents’ concerns, and outlined her vision for the region.
She emphasized that her campaign is driven by a commitment to public service rather than personal recognition.
“Women and youth have the power to transform our communities. I am committed to ensuring their voices are heard and their challenges addressed,” Samira told residents.
Her campaign focuses on key issues including quality education, accessible healthcare, and economic empowerment for young people and women.
She also called for national unity and active cooperation between citizens and leaders to foster local and national development.
Samira is scheduled to visit several districts across Kagera in the coming weeks, urging residents to participate actively in the upcoming election and make informed choices that will shape the region’s and nation’s future.
