Arusha. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority (NCAA) will on October 4, 2025, conduct an orientation session for stakeholders on the use of its new Campsites Makazi Online Portal (MoPo), a system designed to streamline the management of seasonal campsites.
The one-day training, scheduled to start at 9 a.m. at the Ngorongoro Tourism Centre (NTC) in Arusha, will bring together both existing and prospective investors. Participants are required to attend with portable computers or tablets.
According to NCAA, the new digital platform will simplify the application, evaluation, and award processes for seasonal campsites, particularly in the Ndutu area and other locations within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Officials say the system is expected to improve efficiency and transparency in managing campsite allocations, while also providing a reliable platform for processing records.
“This session will support investors to navigate the new system effectively,” NCAA noted in a public notice issued on Monday, adding that the move reflects the authority’s commitment to modernizing services for the tourism sector.
