CCM vice-presidential running mate Ambassador Dr Emmanuel John Nchimbi yesterday told voters in Simiyu Region that the party’s 2025–2030 manifesto is centred on improving livelihoods and accelerating development, calling on residents to give President Samia Suluhu Hassan a fresh mandate in the October General Election.
Speaking at a rally in Lalago, Maswa District, Dr Nchimbi urged voters to consider continuity as a guarantee for stability and growth. He emphasised that the manifesto prioritises social services, infrastructure, and opportunities for youth and women.
“CCM’s agenda is about practical changes that touch the everyday life of citizens from better schools and health services to stronger local economies. That is the choice before you in this election,” he said.
During the rally, Dr Nchimbi also campaigned for parliamentary candidates in the region, including Dr George Vernance Lugomela (Maswa East) and incumbent legislator Mashimba Mashauri Ndaki (Maswa West), alongside CCM councillors.
He stressed that unity at all levels of leadership would allow the government to deliver effectively.
“When you vote for the president, the running mate, MPs, and councillors under the same party, implementation becomes faster and smoother,” he added.
Dr Nchimbi’s message in Simiyu underlined CCM’s strategy of linking national priorities with local aspirations, as the ruling party seeks to consolidate its support base ahead of the polls.
