Korosho Queens are set to restructure their squad as they prepare for the upcoming volleyball season, aiming to reclaim their former glory.
The team, which finished second last year, slipped to fourth place in this year’s National Volleyball League, which concluded on September 28 at MwembeYanga Stadium.
Speaking to The respondent online, team manager Hussein Kibombwe said the club plans to invest in new talent to restore competitiveness and challenge for the championship once again.
“Injuries to key players affected our performance this season. We are back to reorganize and bring back the fire that has always defined Korosho Queens. Our goal is to secure the title,” Kibombwe said.
He praised the fans at Mwembe Yanga for their continuous support, which he described as a crucial motivator for the team.
“We are deeply grateful for the support from our fans. We know we owe them a lot, and we are committed to restoring their faith and bringing joy next season,” he added.
Kibombwe also called on stakeholders to continue supporting the team and its players, helping them achieve their sporting and educational aspirations.
