Tanzania’s JKT Queens are eyeing regional glory as they clash with Rwanda’s Rayon Sports in the final of the CAF Women’s Champions League CECAFA qualifiers this afternoon in Nairobi, Kenya. Kick-off is set for 3:00 p.m.

JKT Queens’ Communications Officer, Masau Bwire, expressed confidence in the team’s readiness, stressing that the players are determined to fight for the title.

“Our main target is to deliver a positive result, lift the trophy, and bring it back to Tanzania. It will take a patriotic fight, and after 90 minutes we want to be declared champions,” said Bwire.

The squad is in good shape ahead of the showdown, with all players fit except captain Anastazia Kantunzi, who will miss the final after suffering an injury in the semifinal.

Bwire urged fans in Nairobi and across the region to rally behind the team, noting that strong support will be crucial as JKT Queens chase history in the competition.
