Vodacom Tanzania PLC marked its 25th anniversary over the weekend by hosting a vibrant sports bonanza in Arusha, bringing together customers, sports fans, and families to celebrate a quarter century of service.
The highlight of the event was a thrilling football showdown, in which Kuza FC emerged as champions after defeating Kitambi Noma FC. Kuza FC’s captain, Gabriel Mwandembwa, received the trophy from Arusha Football Association (ARFA) Vice Chairman, Jame Rugagila.
Beyond football, the bonanza featured a range of fun activities, including FIFA video game competitions, remote-controlled car racing, tug-of-war, and sack races, creating a lively and entertaining atmosphere for all participants.
Vodacom’s Northern Zone Head, George Venanty, and Marketing and Strategy Manager, Hamida Hamad, joined customers in the festivities, reaffirming the company’s commitment to staying close to the community and enhancing customer experiences.
As part of its 25-year journey of connecting Tanzanians, Vodacom emphasized that the anniversary is not only about celebrating its services but also about creating lasting shared memories of joy with its customers nationwide.
