The Ministry of Minerals has announced the postponement of the 7th Tanzania Mining and Investment Conference, initially set for November this year.
The event will now be held from November 19 to 21, 2026, at the Julius Nyerere International Convention Centre (JNICC) in Dar es Salaam.
The Ministry said the decision follows the overlap of the original dates with the country’s General Election in October 2025.
Rescheduling aims to protect the interests of mining stakeholders and ensure full participation in the high-profile forum.
In a statement, the Ministry expressed regret for any inconvenience caused and thanked both local and international participants for their patience and continued commitment to Tanzania’s mining sector.
