Coca-Cola Kwanza hosts Minister of industry and trade

Coca-Cola Kwanza Ltd hosted the Minister of Industry and Trade, Dr Seleman Said Jafo (MP), at its Dar es Salaam facility, highlighting the company’s commitment to integrity, shared value creation, and community development.

During the visit on Sunday, 24 August 2025, the Minister toured the plant and attended a strategic boardroom session where Coca-Cola Kwanza Ltd, part of the Coca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA) group, shared insights on its operations, economic contributions, and initiatives to drive social impact in Tanzania.

The engagement underscores CCBA’s commitment to strengthening its social license to operate. 

By leading in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) standards, the company aims to create lasting positive change for both communities and business.

“By following our values, we can drive sustainable growth and societal progress,” said David Chait, General Manager of Coca-Cola Kwanza Ltd. 

“People are at the centre of everything we do – from our employees to our business partners and the communities we serve. Community involvement allows us to bring positive, measurable change,” he added.

Chait emphasized that the company strives to reflect the diversity of the communities in which it operates while advocating for equal opportunities and inclusivity, particularly for women, youth, and people with disabilities.

CCBA aims to continue building partnerships that promote inclusive economic development and responsible business practices in Tanzania.
