Benedictor Joseph Malange, the Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) candidate for the Mburahati Ward councilor seat in Ubungo District, has officially submitted his nomination forms, pledging to champion community development and economic empowerment if elected.

After filing his papers at the ward office on Wednesday, Malange told reporters that his leadership would focus on reducing dependency among young people and women by creating opportunities for self-reliance.

“There is a growing challenge of unemployment among the youth. If given the mandate, we will introduce development initiatives and promote business opportunities to turn services into productive ventures,” he said. “We will also provide entrepreneurship education for women and youth, alongside efforts to ensure children access quality education.”

Malange stressed that CCM is committed to strengthening its leadership from the grassroots to the national level and urged residents of Mburahati to trust his vision.

“I will deliver on the promises I have made, particularly in improving education, roads, healthcare, and facilitating timely access to business loans for priority groups,” he added.
