The management of Young Africans Sports Club (Yanga SC) has confirmed that the squad will return to training camp by the end of July in preparation for the upcoming 2025/2026 NBC Tanzania Mainland Premier League season.
According to Ally Kamwe, Yanga’s Media and Communications Manager, the club is currently finalizing the appointment of a new head coach.
The incoming coach is carefully reviewing detailed reports from previous coaching staff to determine the best strategy for strengthening the team ahead of the new campaign.
“The new coach is already in Tanzania and has been handed the comprehensive reports from former coaches. This will help him assess the current squad and identify areas that need reinforcement,” Kamwe explained.
He added that the official announcement of the new head coach will be made once the evaluation process is complete and the preparations for the upcoming season are underway.
“We expect to commence our initial training camp in early August. The venue for the camp will be confirmed and announced shortly,” Kamwe said.
The club remains focused on achieving strong performances in the 2025/2026 season and is committed to building a competitive squad that can contend for honours.
