Kigamboni Coaches called to advance skills through Diploma D Course

By Victoria Godfrey

Football coaches in Kigamboni and surrounding areas have been urged to register for a Diploma D coaching course set to take place from July 5 to 14 in Kigamboni District.

Speaking to The Respondent Online, course coordinator Issa Yahya said the training is open to all individuals who have completed the CAF Grassroots level and are eager to take their coaching careers to the next stage.

“We’re opening the doors to coaches who want to advance their knowledge and professionalism. Our aim is to build a stronger pool of qualified coaches who can contribute to the development of football both within Kigamboni and across the country,” said Yahya.

He added that confirmation of participation will require a fee of Sh190,000, which covers the full course.

According to Yahya, the initiative is part of a broader effort to improve the quality of football coaching in Tanzania by equipping coaches with advanced skills and opening opportunities for them to work both locally and internationally.

“The more skilled coaches we have, the better our chances of identifying and nurturing young talent. This is about building the future of Tanzanian football,” he added.

In the meantime, the CAF Grassroots coaching course currently taking place in Kigamboni is expected to conclude tomorrow, paving the way for the Diploma D sessions.
