Amanzi, former Secretary of the CCM Youth League at the Tax College branch and a former Member of the Dar es Salaam Regional Senate (2021/2022), has officially submitted his nomination form to contest the Morogoro South East parliamentary seat.
Amanzi is set to go head-to-head with the outgoing MP for the constituency, Hamisi Taletale, widely known as Babu Tale.
As the sole youth candidate in the race, Amanzi brings a strong vision and determination to serve the people of Morogoro South East.
He stated that the youth represent the backbone of the nation and that this is a crucial time to contribute actively to national development.
Speaking after returning his nomination forms, Amanzi highlighted the effective implementation of the CCM party manifesto under President Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan’s leadership.
He said this inspired him to take up the mantle and support the party’s agenda by serving his constituents.
“Democracy within our party has given me the opportunity to reflect on my capabilities and leadership experience. I am confident that, if granted the party’s endorsement, I will effectively serve the people,” Amanzi said.
Currently, Amanzi remains the only youthful contender to have taken formal steps toward contesting the parliamentary seat in Morogoro South East.
