Dar es Salaam. The Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) has issued a final reminder to successful job applicants who are currently public servants, urging them to complete transfer procedures by June 13, 2025.
The Authority said those who were offered positions after passing interviews and assessments, but who are already employed in other government offices, had been given two weeks from June 2, 2025, to finalise their transfers and report to TRA.
According to TRA, the move aims to ensure that all new employees join their colleagues in the mandatory induction programmes, which officially commenced on June 9, 2025.
The Authority stressed the need for compliance with the deadline, noting that any candidates who fail to complete the transfer process by 11pm on Friday, June 13, 2025, will forfeit their positions. Vacant positions will be filled from the existing pool of qualified candidates.
The statement, issued yesterday, was signed by Moshi J. Kabengwe on behalf of the Commissioner General.
The TRA concluded the notice with its slogan: “Pamoja Tunajenga Taifa Letu” (Together We Build Our Nation).
