Azam FC has stepped up preparations for their final two fixtures of the 2024/2025 NBC Premier League season, aiming to finish the campaign on a high.

The Chamazi-based side will host Tabora United on June 18 at the Azam Complex in Dar es Salaam, before concluding their season with an away match against Fountain Gate on June 22 at the Tanzanite Kwaraa Stadium in Babati, Manyara Region.

Speaking on the team’s progress, Azam’s Media Officer Hasheem Ibwe confirmed that training resumed on Monday with a fully fit squad and no injury concerns.

“The team is in great shape, and those who were away on international duty will rejoin the squad soon. Our focus is to secure maximum points in the remaining matches,” said Ibwe.

He expressed confidence that Azam can deliver strong performances in both fixtures and finish the season on a positive note.

When asked about potential changes in the technical bench or squad, Ibwe noted that such matters will be addressed after the season ends.

“There will be some changes during the off-season. A few players will leave and new signings will be made to strengthen the squad ahead of the next campaign,” he added.

Azam FC will be hoping to capitalize on their home advantage and end the season with momentum as they look ahead to the next chapter.
