The Dar es Salaam Basketball League (BDL) continues to intensify as teams deliver crushing defeats to their opponents.
Tausi Royals secured a dominant victory, thrashing UDSM Queens with a score of 120-25. Meanwhile, Kurasini Divas suffered a heavy 95-18 defeat at the hands of Polisi Stars.
In the men's division, Kurasini Heat narrowly lost 65-68 to Mchenga Stars, while KIUT triumphed with a convincing 70-41 win over Polisi.
Speaking after the match, Mchenga Stars’ coach, Mohamed Mchenga, praised his players for following his instructions, which he said played a key role in their victory.
He emphasized that the team is committed to securing positive results in every match and will return to training to make necessary improvements for upcoming games.
"I thank my players for their outstanding effort in this match. They gave their all and played with determination, which helped us achieve this great result," said Coach Mchenga.
