TanTrade strengthens partnership with Afreximbank

The Tanzania Trade Development Authority (TanTrade) has reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening cooperation with Afreximbank during the Afreximbank Roadshow, held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Dar es Salaam.

The high-level forum was officiated by the Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Dr. Suleiman Serera, and brought together key stakeholders from the banking, trade, and investment sectors. 

TanTrade was represented by Ms. Lulu Mkudde, Director of the Business Management Department, who spoke on behalf of the Director General, Ms. Latifa M. Khamis.

In her remarks, Ms. Mkudde emphasized TanTrade's belief in the importance of strategic partnerships, noting that enhanced collaboration with institutions like Afreximbank will create a more enabling environment for business growth and trade development in Tanzania.

She also took the opportunity to invite all stakeholders, including financial institutions and industry players, to participate in the 49th Dar es Salaam International Trade Fair (DITF), scheduled to take place from June 28 to July 13, 2025

Describing the fair as a premier platform for business networking and showcasing products and services, she highlighted its potential to connect local businesses with regional and international markets.
