The Tanzania Handball Association (TAHA) is set to host an International Handball Federation (IHF) C-License coaching course, scheduled to take place from July 23 to 30 this year in Tanzania.

According to TAHA’s Head of Technical Development, Emmanuel Majura, the training is specifically designed for coaches who have already completed the IHF D-License course.

So far, 46 coaches have been confirmed to have met the necessary qualifications to participate in this international-level course, which will be conducted locally,” said Majura.

He emphasized that all selected coaches are required to verify their personal details, including the correct spelling of their names, their respective sports centers, the date they completed the D-License course, and must also submit an up-to-date CV by tomorrow.

Majura highlighted that the main goal of the training is to further enhance the skills and capacity of local coaches, preparing them for both national and international coaching opportunities.

This course will empower our coaches to meet international standards and open doors for them to lead teams both within and outside the country, based on their performance and expertise,” he added.
