MAKAPO Contractors has been lauded as a patriotic, home‑grown firm that has played a pivotal role in delivering a range of infrastructure projects across Tanzania.
The commendation came from the Minister of Works, Mr Abdallah Ulega, during his presentation of the 2025–2026 budget proposals for the Ministry of Works to Parliament.
He singled out MAKAPO Contractors for their outstanding efforts in advancing critical infrastructure developments nationwide.
“MAKAPO Contractors is one of the companies that has played a significant role in the infrastructure sector,” Minister Ulega remarked.
In the same address, Mr Ulega acknowledged the contributions of Estim Construction, Nyaza Roads Work, and Kings Builders for their exemplary performance on various public works contracts.
Responding to the Minister’s praise, MAKAPO’s Managing Director, Joseph Peneza, expressed gratitude for the recognition.
He reaffirmed the company’s commitment to continued collaboration with the government to support Tanzania’s ongoing infrastructure development
