The Tanzania Darts Association (TADA) has organized a tournament titled the Inter Darts Open EADF Championship, which is scheduled to take place from June 27 to 29 this year at the Bwalo la Magereza Hall in Arusha City.
TADA's Secretary General, Joseph Innocent, stated that preparations are ongoing to ensure the event is conducted professionally.
He explained that the registration process is currently open, and it goes hand-in-hand with the payment of participation fees.
For men, the fee is TSh 20,000 for individual players, TSh 40,000 for doubles, and TSh 80,000 for team entries. For women, the fee is TSh 20,000 for individual players, TSh 40,000 for doubles, and TSh 40,000 for team entries.
"Player registration for the tournament will take place on June 27 this year as we gear up for the competition. We urge all interested participants to make the necessary preparations. We look forward to a highly competitive tournament," said Innocent.
He mentioned that the prizes for the winners will include cash rewards and trophies for the top three positions.
He also revealed that TADA is in the process of preparing and announcing the national darts team, which will be unveiled at any time from now.
