Dar es Salaam Volleyball League heats up tomorrow

The excitement continues in the Dar es Salaam Regional Volleyball League (DAREVA) as action resumes tomorrow at the KIUT grounds in Dar es Salaam.

A packed lineup of matches promises thrilling encounters. In the men’s division, Jeshi Stars will square off against KIUT, while High Voltage takes on Tanzania Prisons. Twalipo will battle it out with Wazo in what’s expected to be a competitive clash.

Other fixtures include TPDC versus IP Sports, Kigamboni facing TCTA, and Giraffe going up against Best Six.

In the women’s division, Bandari will play against Tanzania Prisons, while JKT takes on Star Girls in a much-anticipated showdown.

Additional matches will feature Tai against TPDC, Wazo versus Twalipo, and UDSM hosting Nyika.

Roby Msigwa, the Acting Chairman of the DAREVA Technical Committee, has called on fans and volleyball enthusiasts to come out in large numbers to support their teams.

We’re inviting all sports lovers to join us at the grounds. Entry is absolutely free,” said Msigwa. “This is a great opportunity to enjoy quality volleyball and witness emerging talent as we approach the final stages of the competition.”he added

He also appealed to stakeholders and sponsors to support the league’s preparations, including contributing towards prizes for the winning teams.

The playoffs are just around the corner, kicking off on June 1. Let’s come together to make this a success,” he added.
